Abstract
Dimenzioniranje, proračun i validacija statvenog polimernog ležaja igra ključnu ulogu u osiguravanju učinkovitog i pouzdanog rada suvremenih brodskih pogonskih sustava. Cilj rada je obuhvatiti cijeli proces, fokusirajući se na korištenje naprednih inženjerskih tehnika za određivanje optimalnih dimenzija ležaja, predviđanje operativnih performansi i provjeru konstrukcije. Dimenzioniranje započinje odabirom odgovarajućih polimernih materijala na temelju različitith faktora. Proračun uključuje višestrani pristup koji integrira čimbenike poput hidrodinamičkog podmazivanja, elastične deformacije i toplinskih učinaka. Validacija konstrukcije polimernih ležajeva zahtijeva kombinaciju laboratorijskih ispitivanja i ispitivanja na terenu. Uspješnost konstrukcije ležaja zahtijeva cjeloviti pristup koji koristi računalne alate, teorijsku analizu i validaciju. Integracija ovih metoda osigurava da konstrukcija ležajeva zadovoljava ili premašuje operativne zahtjeve, što dovodi do poboljšane učinkovitosti pogonskog sustava, smanjenih troškova održavanja i povećane ukupne pouzdanosti broda.
Abstract (english)
Dimensioning, calculation and validation of the polymer bearing system plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of the modern ship's propulsion systems. The goal of the paper is to comprehensively cover the entire process, focusing on the use of advanced engineering techniques to determine optimal bearing dimensions, predict operational performance, and verify construction. Sizing begins with the selection of suitable polymer materials based on various factors. The calculation includes a multifaceted approach that integrates factors such as hydrodynamic lubrication, elastic deformation and thermal effects. Validation of polymer bearings construction requires a combination of laboratory and field testing. The success of the bearing design requires a holistic approach that uses computer tools, theoretical analysis and validation. The integration of these methods ensures that the bearing design meets or exceeds operational requirements, leading to improved propulsion system efficiency, reduced maintenance costs and increased overall reliability of the ship.
