Abstract	Većina današnjih brodova kao primarne pokretače propulzora, najčešće brodskog vijka, koristi dizelske motore. Razlog je njihova toplinska učinkovitost, konceptualna jednostavnost i veća pouzdanost. Abstract (english)	Most of today's ships as a primary propulsion system, most commonly propeller, use diesel engines. Reason for that is its thermal efficiency, conceptual simplicity and higher reliability.
