Knowing that the current global economic and political situation has a decisive influence on the formation of the price of fuel in the world market, there is no doubt that such a variable price has an impact on the general world trade, and therefore the economy. As the price of fuel falls, so do its manufacturers lower their fuel quality levels to meet their positive economic balance. With the decline of fuel quality, parts of machines that use such fuel in marine engine rooms are consumed rapidly, as well as all the elements in the fuel system in those engine rooms. The solution to this problem is found in centrifugal cleaners that raise the quality of fuel that has already been purchased by the defined price and stored on board. The work of this device is based on already known laws of physics and thermodynamics, and looking influence of centrifugal force and temperature, on the liquid mass of the fuel. The aim of this paper is to provide a vision of how, through the introduction of a centrifugal cleaner - separator in shipbuilding, the quality of fuel was improved, thus extending the life of machines and appliances in engine room. This, of course, increased the economic and financial impact of the shipowner.
