Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je opisati moţebitne razlike u pruţanju reanimacije na brodu i na kopnu. Na kopnu osobe specijalizirane i uvjeţbane za pruţanje prve pomoći dolaze prve na mjesto nesreće, a najčešće su to: osoblje hitne medicinske pomoći, policijski sluţbenici, vatrogasci, pripadnici gorske sluţbe spašavanja i sličnih sluţbi. MeĎutim, do dolaska stručnih ekipa protekne više od pet minuta, a nekad je potrebno i sat vremena. Reanimaciju na brodu, u slučaju potrebe, rade članovi posade dok ne doĎu časnici zaduţeni za pruţanje medicinske skrbi (obično drugi časnik palube i zapovjednik broda). Pomoć se dobiva savjetom preko raspoloţivih brodskih telekomunikacijskih sustava. Na kopnu i na brodu vrijeme je bitan faktor uspješnosti izvoĎenja reanimacije; ako se unutar najdulje pet minuta od zastoja srca ne pruţi vanjska masaţa srca, konačni ishod je nepovoljan. Stoga je vrlo vaţna laička pomoć/reanimacija, jer je u najvećem broju slučajeva nemoguće doći stručnim sluţbama do unesrećenog.
Abstract (english)
The main goal of this paper is to describe diferrences in reanimation when it is performed on board or ashore. People who will first come at the site of the accident ashore are medics, police officers, fireman, mountain rescue team or similar service members who are trained in providing first aid. However, it takes more than five minutes until arrival of professional teams, and sometimes it takes an hour. In case of emergency on the vessel, reanimation is provided by the crew members till arive of the officers who are designated to provide medical first aid (usually, second officer or master). Medical advices for officers who are designated to provide medical first aidare given through available vessel's communication systems. Time is crutial factor in successful reanimation regardless is it performed ashore or on board; if reanimation is not provided inside of five minutes period, final result will not be prosperous. Therefore, basic understanding of first aid for all crew members is very important because in most cases it is not possible for medical services to come on board in short time.
