Abstract
Prestankom upotrebe jedrenjaka, razvojem tehnologija strojevi i pomagala u navigaciji se neprestano usvršavaju i pružaju dodatna sredstva kao pomoć zapovjedniku, časnicima i ostalim odgovornim osobama u navigaciji. Grade se sve veći i snažniji brodovi, s ojačanom strukturom, koji lakše podnose statičke i dinamičke sile koje stvaraju naprezanja na brodskoj konstrukciji. Upravljanje brodom je vještina koju osoba stječe susrećući se s teškim vremenskim uvjetima, realnost upravljanja brodom je različita od teorije, jer se u praksi uvijek dogaĎaju slučajevi koje ponekad nije moguće predvidjeti i pravovremeno djelovati na njih. Rukovoditelji broda moraju biti dobro upoznati sa sposobnostima manevriranja. Cilj ovog rada je pružiti sliku kako odreĎene sile djeluju na brod, a osoba koja upravlja brodom procjenjuje utjecaje tih sila promatrajući kako one uzrokuju gibanja broda.
Abstract (english)
By stopping the use of sailboats, develop machinery technology and aids in navigation are constantly getting better and providing additional resources to assist the Master, officers and those responsible for navigation.They are building larger and more powerful ships, with a reinforced structure, which can more easily withstand static and dynamic forces that create stresses on a ship's structure. Menaging the ship is a skill that a person feels difficult over time, and the reality of ship managing is different from theories, because in practice there are always cases that sometimes could not predict and act on them in a timely manner. Ship managers must be well aware of the ship's ability to maneuver. The aim of this paper is to provide an image of how a ship can be under effect odf different forces and the person operating the ship assesses the impact of these forces by observing how one gains the motion of the ship.
