Abstract
U radu se obrađuje tema turizma u gradu Šibeniku. Turizam je vrlo bitna gospodarska grana koja ima velik utjecaj u Republici Hrvatskoj, a najviše u gradovima na obali. Svrha ovog rada je istražiti bitne faktore koji utječu na cjelokupnu turističku ponudu grada Šibenika kroz analizu sadašnjeg stanja i osvrnuti se na povijesne i buduće planove razvoja. Ova tema je aktualna i važna jer turizam čini bitnu gospodarsku granu u kojoj je zaposlen veliki broj stanovnika grada. Cilj ovog rada jest analizirati snage, slabosti, prilike i prijetnje Šibenika kao turističke destinacije. U radu se navode elementi strategije razvoja grada Šibenika kroz primjere projekata koji su u planu razvoja.
Abstract (english)
This work covers the subject of tourism in the city of Šibenik. Tourism is a very important economic branch that has a big impact in the Republic of Croatia, and is the most noticable in coastal towns. The purpose of this paper is to investigate important factors affecting the entire tourism offer of the city of Šibenik through an analysis of the present situation and reviewing the historical and future development plans. This topic is current and important because tourism is an important commercial branch, where a large number of people are employed. The aim of this paper is to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of Šibenik as a tourist destination. The paper cites elements of the strategy of the city of Šibenik through examples of projects that are in development.
