Abstract
Služba sigurnosti plovidbe organizirana je kroz dvije vrste poslova – tehničkostručne poslove i upravne (inspekcijske) poslove. Tehničko-stručne poslove obavljaju posebne ustanove i organizacije kao što su Hrvatski registar brodova, Plovput, Državni hidrometeorološki zavod – Pomorski meteorološki centar i Hrvatski hidrografski institut. Upravne (inspekcijske) poslove obavljaju djelatnici lučkih kapetanija. Lučke kapetanije su područne jedinice Ministarstva mora, prometa i infrastrukture. U njihove poslove spadaju poslovi nadzora pomorskog dobra, nadzora plovidbe u unutarnjim morskim vodama i teritorijalnom moru Republike Hrvatske, traganje i spašavanje ljudskih života na moru, poslovi upisa i brisanja brodova, utvrđivanje sposobnosti brodova za plovidbu, poslovi izdavanja pomorskih knjižica te drugi slični poslovi. Posebno će se analizirati poslovi lučkih kapetanija vezani uz sigurnost plovidbe.
Abstract (english)
The safety of navigation service is organised threw two categories – technicalprofessionally services and administration (inspection) services. Technicalprofessionally services perform by special institutions and organizations such as the Croatian register of shipping, Plovput, Meteorological and Hydrological Service of Croatia – Marine meteorological center, and Hydrographic Institute of Croatia. Employees of Harbour Master's Offices deal with administration (inspection) services. Harbour Master's Offices are a regional unit of the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure. Their service ranges of control of the maritime domain, control of navigation in the internal waters and the Croatian territorial sea, search and rescue of humans at sea, business of registration and deletion of ships, the determination of seaworthiness, jobs of issuing seaman's book and other similar activities. Particular attention will be given to the activities of the Harbour Master's Offices concerning the safety of navigation.
