Abstract
U ovome tekstu su opisane karakteristike rada i specifičnosti programskog paketa Macs3 .net i njegove glavne komponente Belco. Kao dio informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija, koje su neophodne za učinkovito funkcioniranje luke, programski paketi općenito pridonose efikasnosti operacija ukrcaja i iskrcaja tereta, kao i njihovog pravilnog i razrađenog slaganja, kako ne bi došlo do pogrešaka koje znače veću potrošnju vremena i resursa te narušavanje sigurnosti samoga broda i posade. U radu su razrađene i dodatne mogućnosti koje pojedini programski paketi mogu ponuditi, a s ciljem unapređenja usluge. Osim macs3 .net-a i njegove komponente Belco, spomenuti su i ostali programski paketi koji se danas primjenjuju na komercijalnim brodovima te njihove glavne karakteristike. Razlog tomu leži u činjenici da će se poznavanjem rada drugih programa objektivnije sagledati sve prednosti i nedostatci Belca i Macs3 .net-a. Pri završetku rada izvedena je i studija slučaja kako bi se pokrio i praktični dio uporabe programa.
Abstract (english)
This article describes the performance characteristics and specifics of the Macs3 .net software package and its main component Belco. As a part of the information-communication technologies, which are necessary for efficient functioning of the port, program packages generally contribute to the efficiency of loading and dicharging operations as well as their proper and elaborated stowing, so that would not come to mistakes that means consumption of more time and resources and violation of safety for vessel herself and crew. The paper also outlines the additional features that some software can offer with the aim of improving the service. Apart from Macs3 .net and its component Belco, other software packages that are currently being used on commercial ships and their main features are mentioned. Reason for this lies in the fact that with the knowledge of the work of other programs, the advantages and disadvantages of Belco and Macs3 .net will be more objectively studied. At the end of the work, a case study was also carried out to cover the practical part of the program use.
