Abstract
Mit predstavlja priče nastale koje su nastale u raznim područjima svijeta i govore o porijeklu čovjeka, naroda i svijeta. Mitovi, priče o bogovima i njihovoj povijesti nisu stvar mitologije već su prirodni i narodni od svojih davnih dana s elementima totemizma i magije. Cilj ovog rada je objasniti ponašanje ljudi koje proizlazi iz mitova u današnjem svijetu. Pomorci su često izloženi predrasudama zbog nekih mitova što se javljaju uz pomorce i pomorsko zvanje. Dosta tih mitova su u današnjem svijetu ekranizirani kroz razne igrane filmove i serije gdje se pomorce prikazuje kroz prizmu tih mitova a takvo što može utjecati na stvaranje iskrivljene predodžbe te razvijanju predrasuda prema pomorcima.
Abstract (english)
The myth represents stories that have arisen in various parts of the world and speak of the origin of man, people, and the world. Myths, stories of gods and their history are not a mythology thing but are natural and folk from their ancient days with elements of totemic and magic. The aim of this paper is to explain the behavior of people born of myths in today's world. Marines are often exposed to prejudices about some myths that occur with seafarers and maritime professions. Plenty of these myths are screened in today's world through various movie and series shows where seafarers are presenting through the prism of these myths, and then the spectator creates the impression that all sailors are such.
