Abstract
Pomorske sigurnosne informacije (engl.Maritime Safety Information – MSI) definirane su Konvencijom o sigurnosti na moru (engl. Safety of Life at Sea - SOLAS), poglavlje IV.MSI usluga je sastavnica GMDSS sustava te je kao takva međunarodno i nacionalno koordinirana usluga čiji je cilj emitiranje informacija potrebnih za sigurnu navigaciju. Navigacijska upozorenja obuhvaćaju hitne informacije koje se odnose na sigurnost plovidbe na moru. Navigacijska upozorenja moraju biti u skladu sa standardima, organizacijom i procedurom Svjetskog sustava izvještavanja brodova u plovidbi (engl. World-wide Navigational Warning Service – WWNWS). Vremenska izvješća obuhvaćaju upozorenja o nevremenu, sinoptičke podatke i prognozu vremena za pomorce. Vremenska izvješća izdaju se kroz Svjetski sustav meteoroloških i oceanografskih obavijesti te upozorenja (engl. The Worldwide Met-Ocean Information and Warning Service – WWMIWS). Postoje dvije glavne metode promulgacije MSI poruka,to su Navtex sustav (engl. Navigational Telex) i SafetyNet sustav koji se primaju na brodu preko odgovarajuće opreme.
Abstract (english)
Maritime Safety Information is defined in the SOLAS convention, Chapter IV. The MSI service is a component of GMDSS and as such is an internationally and nationally co-ordinated service whose purpose is to broadcast information required for safe navigation. Navigation warnings include emergency information regarding the safety of navigation at sea. Navigation alerts must comply with the standards, organization and procedures of the World-wide Navigational Warning Service - WWNWS. Weather reports include weather warnings, synoptic data and forecasts for seafarers. Weather reports are issued through the The Worldwide Met-Ocean Information and Warning Service - WWMIWS. There are two main ways of promoting MSI messages, namely the Navtex system and the SafetyNet system that are received on board via the appropriate equipment. Two principal methods are used for broadcasting maritime safety information, Navtex system and the SafetyNet system that arereceived on board via the appropriate equipment.
