Abstract
Tema i glavni cilj ovog rada je pobliže upoznati čitatelja sa jednom od modernijih brodova u pomorskoj industriji i gospodarstvu, a to su Pure Car Carrier brodovi koji se ubrajaju u Roll on/Roll off brodove. U radu će se čitatelj upoznati sa Roll on/Roll off tehnologijama i brodovima, te njihovom najmodernijem Pure Car Carrier ogranku koji je doživio početkom 20.st. znatniji porast i razvoj. Kako se čitatelj upoznaje sa osnovama Pure Car Carrier brodova, spomenuti će se sve važnije stvari u vezi tih brodova i po čemu se razlikuju od ostalih brodova. Rad je podijeljen na nekoliko dijelova gdje prvo spominjemo Roll on/Roll off brodove kroz povijest i vrste tih brodova, a nakon toga će se obraditi Pure Car Carrier brodove. Obraditi će se rute Pure Car Carrier brodova, njihove karakteristike, operacije povezane za ukrcaj i iskrcaj tereta i još dosta sličnih stvari. Cilj rada je upoznavanje sa razlozima zašto se Pure Car Carrier tehnologija tako naglo razvila i postala popularna.
Abstract (english)
Main theme and goal of this thesis is to inform the reader with one type of modern ships in maritime industry and economy, which are Pure Car Carrier ships, which are part of Roll on/Roll off ships. In thesis we will familiarize reader with Roll on/Roll off technologies and ships and their modern branch which is known as PCC branch which experienced significant growth in early 20.century. While the reader is getting known with basics of Pure Car Carrier ships, we will mention all-important Theses is divided in few parts where we first talk about evolution of RoRo ships through history and types of those ships, and after that we will talk about Pure Car Carrier ships. We will research their routes, this characteristics, cargo operations for loading and discharging and a lot of different things. Main goal is to introduce main reasons of the fast development and popularity of these ships to the reader.
