Abstract
Excel tablice sa svojom raznolikom primjenom, od jednostavnih izračuna do kompliciranih financijskih modula, su jedan on najraširenijih i najprimjenjivijih programa u svijetu. Njegova jednostavna automatizacija izračuna i grafički prikaz podataka, zajedno sa Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), čine ga idealnom platformom za automatizaciju aplikacija za pomorske inženjere. Cilj ovog rada je dizajnirati aplikaciju u Excelu za jednostavno vođenje evidencije o pomorcima i pronalazak posla pomorcima uz pomoć posrednika. Razvijena je relacijska baza podataka u Accessu koja je primjenom VBA povezana sa MS Excel programom tako da se izmjene i pretraživanje baze podataka izvodi kroz Excel tablicu. Korisnik treba samo izabrati bazu podataka koju će koristiti te kroz aplikaciju Excela može vršiti unos i izvoz podataka u Access bazu. Ovo je samo primjer moguće upotrebe Excel programa za automatizaciju funkcija u pomorstvu Aplikacija se može koristiti i kao alat studente i obrazovanje učenika i studenata.
Abstract (english)
The Excel spreadsheet with its versatile application, ranging from simple calculations to complicated financial modules, is one of the most widespread and most popular programs in the world. Its simple computing automation and graphical display of data, along with VBA, make it the ideal application automation platform for marine engineers. The aim of this paper is to design an application in Excel to simply keep track of seafarers' records and find jobs for sailors with the assistance of an intermediary. A relational database, developed in Access, is associated with MS Excel program using the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) in such way, database changes and searches can be run through the Excel spreadsheet. The user should only choose the database which he will use and through the Excel application he can enter and export the data in the Access database. This is just one example of the possible use of Excel's software for automating maritime functions. The application can also be used as a tool for student and student education.
