Abstract
Brojne međunarodne konvencije uređuju problematiku sigurnosti plovidbe, segment gospodarenja s otpadom u plovidbi, te zaštite morskog okoliša od onečišćenja. Povećanjem prometa brodova raste i količina otpada koji se stvara na brodovima, stoga se na međunarodnoj i nacionalnoj razini poseban naglasak stavlja na ostvarivanje što viših standarda za gospodarenje otpadom s brodova u lukama. Lučke uprave u Republici Hrvatskoj usvajaju planove gospodarenja otpadom s brodova u lukama te se svi korisnici luka moraju pridržavati pravila o postupanju s različitim tipovima otpada. Planom o gospodarenju otpada s brodova u lukama detaljno su propisani uvjeti koji se moraju ostvariti, a osobito obavljanje inspekcijskog nadzora nad njihovom provedbom.
Abstract (english)
Numerous international conventions regulate the issue of safety, the waste disposal segment, and the protection of the marine environment from pollution. By increased ship traffic, the amount of waste generated on ships is growing, so on the international and national level, special emphasis is placed on achieving the highest standards for waste management from ships in ports. Port administrations in the Republic of Croatia adopt Ship waste management plans in ports and all port users must comply with the rules on handling different types of waste. The plan of waste management from ships in ports details the conditions that must be fulfilled, and in particular the inspection of their implementation.
