Abstract
Splavi omogućuju duži boravak ljudi na moru nakon napuštanja broda uslijed potonuća ili neke druge havarije. Značajne su po tome što za razliku od čamaca, splav nema nikakav poriv te slobodno pluta pod utjecajem mora i vjetra. Splavi se dijele na krute i pneumatske, a tematika ovoga rada jesu upravo pneumatske splavi. Uzgon navedenih splavi stvaraju najmanje dvije odvojene komore koje se pune kroz nepovratni ventil. Sama splav se napuše u roku jedne minute neotrovnim plinom. Splav je konstruirana tako da je u slučaju prevrtanja svega jedna osoba može okrenuti. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati razvoj upravo navedenih splavi za spašavanje te obilježja istih kroz razvoj.
Abstract (english)
The liferafts enable longer period of stay at sea after abandoning a ship during a sinkage or some other disaster. Liferafts, unlike boats, haveno propulsion and are floating under the influence of the sea and the wind. They are divided into rigid and inflatable (pneumatic) and the subject of this work are inflatable liferafts. Buoyancy of inflatable liferaft is made of at least two separate chambers which are filled through the non-return valve. The liferaft is inflated within one minute with non-toxic gas. The liferaft is built in such a way that in the event of capsizing, only one person can put it back in upright position. The aim of this work is to show the development of mentioned liferafts and their characteristics through development.
