Abstract
Završni rad „Obilježja suvremenih kontejnerskih i RO-RO terminala“ je koncipiran u nekoliko cjelina. U uvodu je ukratko opisan transport u pomorstvu, pojam „terminali“, te suvremeni lučki i RO-RO terminali. U drugoj cjelini nalazi se pregled tehničko-tehnoloških značajki suvremene luke, utjecaj morskog pomorstva na razvitak kontejnera, planiranje i projektiranje lučko kontejnerskih terminala, te infrastruktura, suprastruktura i eksploatacija kontejnerskih terminala. Treća cjelina obuhvaća cjelinu o RO-RO terminalima, počevši od njegove povijesne građe do današnjeg razvitka, tehničko-tehnološkim značajkama, obilježjima, prednostima i nedostacima, vrstama RO-RO terminala, te rampi. Na kraju je dan osvrt na završni rad u cjelini.
Abstract (english)
Final thesis „Features of the modern containers and RO-RO terminals“ is conceived in several sections. In the introduction transport is briefly described in maritime, the term „terminals“, modern port terminals and RO-RO terminals. In the second section it is described the overview of the technical-techological features of modern ports, the influence of maritime transport on the development of containers, planning and designing port terminals for containers, infrastructures, superstructures and explotation of container terminals. The third section describes the RO-RO terminals, starting with its historical start to modern development, technical-technological features, advantages and disadvantages, types of RO-RO terminals and ramps. In the last section it is insribed the overview of the final thesis as a whole.
