Abstract
Pomorac ili moreplovac je osoba koja se profesionalno ili stručno bavi pomorstvom, odnosno plovidbom. U današnje vrijeme pomorstvo se smatra jednim od visokostresnih zanimanja. Stres je reakcija tijela na događaje koji mu narušavaju ravnotežu, te dugotrajna izloženost stresorima ima negativan utjecaj na čovjeka. U svrhu očuvanja fizičkog i psihičkog zdravlja kod pomoraca i drugih ljudi koji se bave visokostresnim poslovima organiziraju se različite radionice i antistres programi. Cilj ovog rada je ukazati na važnost antistres programa kod pomoraca u svrhu očuvanja njihovog psihičkog i fizičkog zdravlja. Također, će se pobliže objasniti najčešći načini opuštanja, te kako bi bilo dobro uvesti različite radionice pomoću kojih bi se kod pomoraca i drugih zanimanja mogla poboljšati međusobna komunikacija, olakšati rješavanje problema i smanjiti posljedice stresa.
Abstract (english)
A sailor or a seaman is a person who is professionally or expertly engaged in maritime affairs or navigation. Maritime affairs are considered to be highly stressed occupations nowadays. Stress is a reaction of the body to events that disrupt its balance, and long-term exposure to stress has a negative impact on the human being. In order to preserve physical and mental health of sailors and other people engaged in highly stressed occupations, various workshops and anti-stress programs are organized. The aim of this paper is to point out the importance of organizing anti-stress programs for sailors in order to preserve their mental and physical health. The most common ways of sailor relaxation, the principles of anti stress programs that prevent stress origins will be explained, as well as how good would it be to implement variety of workshops that will help sailors and other occupations to improve their mutual communication, problem solving alleviation and reduction of the effects of stress.
