Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je pojasniti postupak rukovanja teretom na LNG brodovima. Metan spada u vrlo opasne terete te se s njim mora vrlo oprezno rukovati. Pri samom rukovanju teretom bitno je daje odgovorna osoba, koja upravlja samim procesom rukovanja, upoznata s karakteristikama tereta te kako se upravlja s teretnim sustavima. U ovom radu bit će objašnjeno koje su radne operacije s teretom, odnosno kako se inertiraju tankovi, kako se prevozi LNG kad je brod nakrcan ili kad je u balastnom putovanjui slično. Razvojem tržišta metana došlo je i do potrebe razvoja većih LNG brodova, a samim time dolazi i do razvoja tehnologije što dovodi do boljeg rukovanja teretom. Važno je napomenuti kako postoje određena pravila kod samog manipuliranja s teretom, koja su obrađena u ovom radu, kako ne bi došlo do zapaljenja kod rukovanja s metanom jer bi se u protivnom dogodila velika katastrofa.
Abstract (english)
The objective of this article is to explain cargo handling on LNG vesels. Methane gas belongs to very dangerous goods and because of that it must be handled very carefully. During handling with cargo the responsible person,who manages the handling process itself, it is important to be familiar with cargo characteristics and how it operates with cargo systems.In this article it will be explained cargo handling operations, that is, how tanks are inerted, how is LNG transported when the vessel is loaded or when it is in the balast voyage and similarly. The development of the methane market has also led to the need to develop larger LNG vessels, and thus the development of technology will lead to better cargo handling. It is important to note that there are certain rules in the manipulation with the cargo, that are explained in the article, so it wouldn't come to ignition when handling the methne and the major catastrophe could avoid.
