Abstract
Stabilitet je svojstvo broda koje mu omogućava da se odupre vanjskim silama koje ga nastoje nagnuti, te da se nakon prestanka tih sila vrati u početan položaj. Pokus nagiba je postupak kojem se određuje položaj težišta mase broda (G) i metacentarske visine (M_0 G). Pokus se mora obavljali u vremenskim uvjetima mirnog mora, bez vjetra, u blizini obale ali sa konopima opuštenim da bi se brod mogao slobodno kretati. Težine tereta definirane su krcanjem broda, što može direktno utjecati na njegovu stabilnost; teret može poboljšati ili ugroziti stabilitet broda, koji je definiran metacentarskom visinom, kako je i prethodno navedeno.
Abstract (english)
Stability is a feature of a ship that allows it to resist external power that tends to tilt the ship, and after that power, it goes back to its initial position. An experiment of the list is a procedure that determines the position of the center of gravity of the mass of the ship(G) and metacentric height(MOG). Experiment must be done in weather conditions of calm sea, with no wind near the coast but with relaxed ropes so that the ship can move freely. The weight of the loads is defined by loading of the ship, which can directly affect its stability;burden can enhance or threaten the stability of the ship, which is defined by metacentric height, as it was previously specified.
