Abstract
Zadatak rada je istražiti potapanje podmornice Kursk, zatim objasniti pokušaj spašavanja ljudi te važnost zbrinjavanja olupine i saniranje štete. Nuklearna podmornica Kursk potonula je u Barentsovom moru tijekom pomorske vježbe 2000. godine. Ono što se veže uz podmornicu Kursk su bezuspješni pokušaji spašavanja posade. Također, potrebno je spomenuti i političke konotacije kako unutarnje političke tako i vanjskopolitičke. Taj događaj, uz veliku ljudsku tragediju, nosi i mnoga pitanja vojne i političke prirode. Vojni analitičari su smatrali da nesreća Kurska jasno pokazuje silazni trend ruske vojne moći i krizu ruske vojske i države. Uloženi su veliki napori u potragu i spašavanje, na međunarodnoj razini, ali nitko od posade nažalost nije spašen.
Abstract (english)
The task of the paper is to investigate the sinking of the Kursk submarine, then ex-plain the attempt to save people and the importance of disposing of the wreck and repairing the damage. The Kursk nuclear submarine sank in the Barents Sea during a 2000 naval exercise. What is attached to the Kursk submarine are unsuccessful attempts to rescue the crew. Also, it is necessary to mention the political connotations of both domestic and for-eign policy. This event, along with the great human tragedy, carries many issues of a mili-tary and political nature. Military analysts believed that the Kursk accident clearly showed the downward trend of Russian military power and the crisis of the Russian army and state. Great efforts have been made in search and rescue, internationally, but none of the crew has unfortunately been rescued.
