Abstract
Parna turbina toplinski je stroj pomoću koje se događa pretvorba toplinske energije u mehanički rad. Princip rada je takav da toplinska energija pare se pretvori u kinetičku energiju uz pomoć sapnice, na statorskom dijelu turbine. Zatim se radni medij vodi zakrivljenim strujnim kanalom na rotoru turbine što izazove silu koja zakreće rotor. Rezultat ovog procesa je mehanički rad. Pogonski sustav za LNG koristi parnu turbinu kao glavni pokretač, ali i plinsku turbinu i dizelski motor. Opisano je na primjeru broda Al Marrouna.
Abstract (english)
A steam turbine is a thermal machine by which the thermal energy of steam is converted into mechanical work. The principle of operation is such that the thermal energy of the steam is first converted into kinetic energy by means of a nozzle on the stator part of the turbine, and then by guiding the working medium through a curved current channel on the turbine rotor, a force rotates the rotor resulting in mechanical action. The propulsion system for LNG ships uses a steam turbine as the main engine, but also a gas turbine and a diesel engine. It is described on example of ship Al Marrouna.
