Abstract
Predmet istraživanja ovog rada je utjecaj pandemije COVID-19 na pomorsku industriju s posebnim fokusom na pomorske kadrove. Pomorstvo kao industrija je vrlo podložno utjecaju globalnih kriza u koje se može svrstati i aktualna pandemija COVID-19. Sukladno tome, u radu je provedeno istraživanje stavova i mišljenja pomoraca o utjecaju pandemije COVID-19 na referentnom uzorku ciljne populacije u Hrvatskoj. Rezultati navedenog istraživanja pokazuju da je pandemija COVID-19 značajno utjecala na pomorsku industriju i pomorske kadrove.
Abstract (english)
The subject of research of this paper is influence of the COVID-19 in the maritime industry and on the seafarers. Maritime as an industry itself is very susceptible to global catastrophes, which is evident throughout history. Accordingly, a survey of seafarers' attitudes and opinions on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the reference sample of the target population in Croatia was conducted. The results of this study show that the COVID-19 pandemic significantly affected the maritime industry and maritime personnel.
