Abstract
Za rješavanje inženjerskih problema postoje tri metode: analitička, eksperimentalna i numerička. Analitička metoda kod analize nestacionarnog gibanja je moguća samo za najjednostavnije sustave, bez značajnih pojednostavljenja. Eksperimentalna je skupa i često se javljaju mnogi problemi tijekom izvedbe. Numerička metoda nudi rješenja visoke točnosti, te razvojem računala koje prati i razvoj programa za računalnu dinamiku fluida skoro potpuno eliminira potrebu eksperimentalne metode. Međutim, ova metoda zahtjeva visoku stručnost osobe koja provodi analizu, jer te rezultate je potrebno provjeriti. U ovom radu je izrađena i opisana simulacija rada protusmjernog i istosmjernog izmjenjivača topline u programu Simulia, te su rezultati uspoređeni sa uobičajnim rezultatima izmjenjivača topline metodom učinkovitost-NTU (broj prenesenih jedinica). Zaključeno je da se rezultati simuliranog i stvarnog izmjenjivača topline poklapaju, te su time potvrđene prednosti korištenja programa za modeliranje i simuliranje prijenosa topline.
Abstract (english)
There are three methods engineers use to solve a problem: analytical, experimental and numerical. Analytical method can be used for the most basic cases, without significant simplyfications. Experimental method is usually expensive, and prone to difficulties during excetutuion. Numerical method offers high accuracy solutions partially due to development of technology and Computational flud dynamics (CFD) and almost completely eliminates need for experimental method. However, this method requries highly educated experts, because results of simulations need to be checked. In this paper CFD simulation is built on a example of heat exchanger and results are compared with results of real heat exchanger using efficiency-NTU method. It is concluded that results of simulated heat exchanger match results of real heat exchanger and this confirms advantages of using modeling and simulation software for heat transfer analysis.
