Abstract
Prvi počeci razvoja pomorskog turizma sežu još u antičko doba kada je tadašnje stanovništvo koje je živjelo uz obalu brodske pogone i obalno područje koristilo za različite vrste trgovinskih razmjena. Do dan danas pomorski turizam u Europi rapidno je porastao, a početkom 2020. godine dogodila se neočekivana situacija odnosno pandemija COVID-19 koja je utjecala na sve oblike turizma pa tako i na pomorski turizam. Pandemija COVID-19 ostavila je značajne posljedice na gospodarstva diljem svijeta, a uslijed epidemioloških mjera moralo se pristupiti zatvaranju državnih granica što je uvelike utjecalo na broj dolazaka i noćenja domaćih i stranih turista, a ujedno i na pomorski turizam. U završnom radu prikazuje se stanje pomorskog turizma u Europi u odnosu n Hrvatsku, te se donosi prikaz budućeg razvoja i opravka pomorskog turizma.
Abstract (english)
The first beginnings of the development of maritime tourism date back to ancient times when the then population who lived along the coast used ship facilities and the coastal area for various types of trade. Until today, maritime tourism in Europe has grown rapidly, and at the beginning of 2020 there was an unexpected situation or pandemic COVID-19 that affected all forms of tourism, including maritime tourism. The COVID-19 pandemic has had significant consequences for economies around the world, and epidemiological measures have led to the closure of state borders, which has greatly affected the number of arrivals and overnight stays of domestic and foreign tourists, as well as maritime tourism. The final paper presents the state of maritime tourism in Europe in relation to Croatia, and presents the future development and repair of maritime tourism.
