Abstract
Inovacija je stvaranje ili razvoj novih i učinkovitijih procesa, usluga, proizvoda, tehnologija, kao i njihova uspješna asimilacija i iskorištavanje. Inovacija pomaže u poboljšanju gospodarskog rasta, društvenog razvoja i poslovne konkurentnosti. Obuhvaća odluke, aktivnosti i prakse osmišljavanja i provedbe inovacijske strategije, te pokreću rast poslovanja i pomažu organizacijama da ostanu ispred konkurenata. Kako bi upravljanje inovacijama postalo rutinski dio poslovanja, mnoge organizacije slijede discipliniran i cikličan pristupu cilju razvijanja inovacijske strategije i stvaranja vlastitog inovacijskog sustava. Cilj je definirati pojam inovacija, ključne aspekte upravljanja inovacijama, predstaviti vrste i metodologiju pristupa inovacijama, ulogu i važnost inovacije, te se u konačnici dotaknuti i procesa inovacija u pomorskom sektoru.
Abstract (english)
Innovation is the creation or development of new and more efficient processes, services, products, technologies, as well as their successful assimilation and exploitation. Innovation helps improve economic growth, social development and business competitiveness. It encompasses the decisions, activities and practices of designing and implementing an innovation strategy, and they drive business growth and help organizations stay ahead of competitors. In order for innovation management to become a routine part of business, many organizations follow a disciplined and cyclical approach to the goal of developing an innovation strategy and creating their own innovation system. The goal is to define the concept of innovation, key aspects of innovation management, present the types and methodology of innovation approaches, the role and importance of innovation, and finally touch on the process of innovation in the maritime sector.
