Abstract
Europsko gospodarstvo krije ogroman potencijal za rast i održiv razvoj na mnogim područjima, a posebno u pomorskom sektoru zbog povoljnog geografskog položaja. Europska unija sa svojim članicama i u suradnji sa ostalim državama nastoji osnažiti sve krucijalne točke tog sektora. Razvojem strategije „Plavi rast“ kao glavnog projekta za ciljani rast i razvoj pomorskog sektora napravili su se kvalitetni temelji za daljnji razvoj. Uz nastanak novih projekata kao što su međuobalno prometno povezivanje (engl. Short Sea Shipping) i morske autoceste (engl. Motorways of the seas) napravilo se mnogo, pogotovo u pomorskom prometnom sektoru koji se zbog preopterećenja cestovnog i zračnog prometa nameće kao najvažniji sektor europskog gospodarstva.
Abstract (english)
European economy is hiding a huge potencial for growth and sustainable development in a lot of areas, specially in the maritime sector because of its geographical position. Therefore European union with its members and with cooperation with other countries seeks to empower all the main points of that sector. With the development of the strategy „Blue growth“ as the main project for the targeted growth and development of maritime sector have made the quality bases for the further growth. With the emergence of the new projects like „Short Sea Shipping“ and „Motorways of the seas“ a lot of things were made specially in the sea traffic which is due to overload of road and air traffic and its imposed as the most important sector in the European ecenomy.
