Abstract
Ovaj završni rad sadrži opis sredstava ovisnosti koji su danas veliki problem, bilo to na kopnu ili na brodu. Droga, alkohol, kocka i duhan su u velikoj većini sredstva koja stvaraju tu ovisnost. Naravno, svako sredsvo koje stvara ovisnost ima svoje karakteristike i svoje štetne učinke na ljudski organizam. Isto tako svaka vrsta ovisnosti se liječi drugačijim metodama. Borba protiv ovisnosti je dugotrajna i mukotrpna. Zadnjih godina u pomorstvu se znatno povećala briga na ovu temu. Ovisnik stvara problem ne samo sebi i svojoj obitelji nego i cijeloj posadi koju dovodi u opasnost jer je pod utjecajem droga ili alkohola za vrijeme rada na brodu.
Abstract (english)
This final paper contains a description of the addictive substances that are today a big problem, whether on land or on board. Drugs, alcohol, gambling and cigarets are in the majority substances that create addiction. Of course, each addictive drug has its own characteristics and its own harmful effects on the human body. Likewise, each type of addiction is treated with different methods. The fight against addiction is long and arduous. Concerns on this topic have increased significantly in recent years in the maritime sector. The addict creates a problem not only for himself and his family but also for the entire crew he puts in danger because he is under the influence of drugs or alcohol while working on the ship.
