Abstract
Kako povećanje komunikacijskih mogućnosti pruža pristup bogatijem sadržaju, tako potražnja za više sadržaja i boljom kvalitetom prijenosa tjera na daljnji razvoj i poboljšanje komunikacijskih tehnologija. Uvođenjem širokopojasnih pristupnih mreža, postižu se veći propusni kapaciteti odnosno brzine prijenosa podataka što operatorima omogućuje pružanje kvalitetnije usluge korisnicima. Pomorske komunikacije koje su obvezne na brodovima unutar GMDSS-a nemaju predviđenu mogućnost za širokopojasne komunikacijske veze za područje koje obuhvaća A1. U ovom radu definirane su i obrađene tehnologije širokopojasnoga bežičnog pristupa Internetu. Napravljena je sistematizacija tehnologija po kriterijima dometa i područja pokrivenosti zajedno s pristupnim brzinama pojedinih tehnologija.
Abstract (english)
As increased communication capabilities provide access to richer content, so the demand for more content and better transmission quality is driving further development and improvement of communication technologies. With the introduction of broadband access networks, higher throughput capacities and data transfer speeds are achieved, which enables operators to provide better customer service. Maritime communications that are mandatory on ships within the GMDSS do not provide for the possibility of broadband communications for the area covered by the A1. In this paper, the technologies of broadband wireless Internet access are defined and processed. The systematization of technologies according to the criteria of range and coverage area was made together with the access speeds of individual technologies.
