Abstract
Brzi napredak informacijske tehnologije (IT) posljednih 60 godina omogućio je razne dobrobiti koje se imaju priliku uživati danas. Paralelno s tehnološkim razvojem, razvijaju se i šire područja primjene informacijskih tehnologija. Jedna od informacijskih tehnologija je baza podataka i sustav za upravljanje istima. Baze podataka su osnova modernog poslovanja i temelj svakog informacijskog sustava. Može se pretpostaviti da su logičan odabir i u poslovanju u brodarstvu, gdje se koriste kao alat koji bi olakšao izazove koji se u brodarstvu pojavljuju te omogućio donošenje poslovnih odluka. Javlja se potreba za praćenjem zaliha na brodu na logičan i organiziran način što zahtijeva dobro organiziranu bazu pogodnu za krajnjeg korisnika. U radu predložena i opisana kreirana baza podataka u cilju boljeg i organiziranog upravljanja podacima za praćenje zaliha na brodu.
Abstract (english)
With the rapid movement of information technology in the last 60 years, humans have significant advantages today. In parallel with the development of technology, computer applications are being developed and expanded. One of these technologies is a database and a database management system. It can even be said that databases are the foundation of modern business and any information system. Therefore, they are assumed to be a logical choice in the shipping industry as well, as they are used as a tool to help companies face challenges and enable optimal decision making. It is necessary to monitor the stocks on board, and in this paper this is observed through the modeling of a database suitable for the end user. This paper proposes and describes the created database, which contributes to better and organized data management for monitoring inventory on board.
