Abstract
Ugovor o pomorskom osiguranju je ugovor kojim se ugovaratelj osiguranja obvezuje da će osiguratelju platiti premiju osiguranja, a osiguratelj se obvezuje ugovaratelju osiguranja da će osiguraniku, ako nastane događaj koji znači osigurani slučaj, sukladno odredbama ugovora, isplatiti osigurninu. Bitni elementi ugovora o pomorskom osiguranju: osigurani predmet, osigurani rizik, premija osiguranja i osigurnina. Stranke iz ugovora o pomorskom osiguranju su: osiguratelj, ugovaratelj osiguranja i osiguranik. Pomorsko osiguranje obuhvaća osiguranje robe u pomorskom prijevozu, kao i za vrijeme prijevoza kopnom koje prethodi ili slijedi pomorskom prijevozu, uključujući i usputna skladištenja. Institutske klauzule za osiguranje robe su najpoznatiji standardni uvjeti za osiguranje robe u međunarodnom prijevozu.
Abstract (english)
The contract of maritime insurance is a contract under which the policyholder agrees with the insurer to pay the insurance premium, and the insurer commits to policyholder that he will pay the insurer, in the case of the insured event, in accordance with the provision of the contract. The essential elements of the contract of maritime insurance: the insured object, insured risk, insurance premiums and insurance premium. The parties to the contract of maritime insurance are: the insurer, the policyholder and insured. Maritime insurance covers the insurance of goods in marititme transport as well as during land transport preceding or following maritime transport, including incidental storage. The best known standard terms for insurance of goods in international transport are Institute Cargo Clauses.
