Abstract
Pojam zaštite i očuvanja okoliša je česta tema mnogih rasprava. U ovom radu je istaknuto značenje očuvanja okoliša u lukama te promjene koje nastaju kao posljedica ne pridržavanja normi i pravila. Nedvojbeno je za naglasiti da ukoliko se luke žele uspješno razvijati, trebaju težiti promociji zaštite okoliša. Strategija razvoja definirana je kroz viziju, ciljeve i mjere razvoja, a geografski položaj, veličina i kapacitet temelji su uspješnog i kvalitetnog razvoja. Svaka luka ima svoje specifičnosti što zahtjeva poseban pristup. Luke imaju veliko, neprocjenjivo značenje i zadaću u današnjem svijetu. Njihovo značenje i važnost je višestruka – pristajanje brodova te ukrcaj, prekrcaj ili iskrcaj tereta ili putnika s brodova i na njih. Cilj je kroz tehnološke, zakonske i administrativne postupke utjecati na očuvanje okoliša. Zrak, buka i voda su sastavni dijelovi okoliša koji su najviše pod utjecajem onečišćenja iz luka stoga ih treba uzeti u obzir prilikom održivog razvoja luka.
Abstract (english)
Term of environmental protection and preservation is a frequent topic of many discussions. This paper emphasizes the importance of protecting the environment in ports and the changes that result from non-observance norms and rules. It is undoubtedly emphasized that the ports which want to develop successfully should strive for promotion environmental protection. The development strategy is defined through the vision, goals and measures of development, while geographical location, size and capacity are the foundations of successful and quality development. Each port has its own specifics which requires a special approach. Ports have great, invaluable significance and mission in today's world. Their meaning and importance is multifaceted - docking of ships, loading and discharging of cargo or passengers from and to ships. The goal is to influence the conservation of the environment through technological, legal and administrative procedures. Air, noise and water are components of the environment that are most affected by pollution from ports and should therefore be taken into account in the sustainable development of ports.
