Abstract
Svjetski turizam doživljava rast pojavom raznih trendova kao i sve većom educiranosti turista i rastom interesa za različitim atrakcijama u destinacijama. Ovaj rad se bavi analizom turizma u Svijetu, analizirajući pritom povijesni razvoj, opisuje teoriju turizma te vrstu i oblike turizma s naglaskom na njegov razvoj, sadašnje stanje i potencijalni razvoj u budućnosti. S obzirom da se radi o veoma sadržajnoj temi, u ovom završnom radu proći će se kroz najbitnije dijelove navedene tematike kako bi se dobila cjelokupna slika razvoja turizma. Kroz teorijski dio rada nastoje se objasniti glavne odrednice turizma i njegove vrste, dok se kroz empirijski dio na temelju dostupnih statističkih podataka i literature objašnjava kako je tekao razvoj turizma, njegovi trendovi i očekivanja u budućnosti. Na temelju napisanog rada se izvode najvažniji zaključci.
Abstract (english)
The world tourism is experiencing growth with the emergence of various trends as well as the increasing education of tourists and the growing interest in various attractions in the destinations. This paper deals with the analysis of maritime tourism in the world, analyzing the historical development, present situation and potential future development. Since this is a very contentious topic, this final paper will go through the most important parts of the topic in order to get a complete picture of tourism development. The theoretical part of the paper tries to explain the main determinants of tourism and its types, while the empirical part explains how the development of tourism, its trends and expectations in the future, based on available statistics and literature. Based on the written work, the most important conclusions are drawn.
