Abstract
Svaki brod posjeduje dobro definiran elektroenergetski sustav koji se sastoji od nekoliko podsustava, od kojih svaki ima svrhovitu zadaću. To je sustav koji brodu omogućava korištenje, distribuciju i proizvodnju električne energije na brodu koja se dobiva preko dizel generatora, turbo generatora te ako postoji, preko osovinskog generatora. Kontinuirano se radi na boljim izvedbama elektroenergetskih sustava s ciljem postizanja bolje učinkovitosti. Električna propulzija broda je pogonski sustav koji razvija poriv koji pokreće brod. Sastoji se od pogonskoga stroja, prijenosnih uređaja i propulzora koji se još nazivaju i vijkom. Održavanje sustava električne propulzije ključno je kako bi se održao vijek trajanja sustava, a samim time i povećala sigurnost posade i broda. Inspekcije i održavanje potrebno je obavljati ovisno o onečišćenosti dijelova sustava. U sustavu održavanja električne propulzije potrebno je paziti na klizne prstene, četkice, izolatore i druge dijelove.
Abstract (english)
Each vessel has a well-defined electric power system which is consisting of several subsystems and each of those have its own purpose. It's a system that enables the use, distribution and production of electric power on vessels which is supplied via a diesel generator, turbo generator and if exist, via an shaft generator. Electric power systems are under a constant research to achieve better efficiency. The electric propulsion of the vessel is a propulsion system which develops the force that drives the vessel. It's consisted of propulsion machine, portable devices, and propellers. Maintaining an electric propulsion system is crucial to sustaining the life of the system, and thereby increasing crew and ship safety. Inspection and maintenance must be carried out depending on the particle system contamination. In the maintenance of electrical propulsion system, special care must be taken on the slip rings, brushes, isolators and other crucial parts.
