Abstract
Nuklearne tvari karakterizira njihova osjetljiva i opasna priroda koja ima štetne posljedice za ljude i okoliš. Iako je prijevoz nuklearnih tvari obilježen problemima, i dalje je u stalnom porastu od same učestalosti prijevoza do količine materijala koji se prevozi. Prijevoz nuklearnih tvari dovodi do rizika nesreća s mogućnošću radiološkog izlaganja koje može biti izrazito štetno za ljude i okoliš. Prijevoz ove vrste tereta specifičan je zbog opasnih svojstava ovog tereta koji zahtijevaju osobitu pažnju u svim aspektima prijevoza, od samog pakiranja do dokumentiranja. Kako bi se prijevoz odvijao sigurno, doneseno je više pravilnika i konvencija koji reguliraju specifičnosti ove vrste prijevoza. U tim propisima definirani su sami pojmovi i vrste nuklearnih šteta, te odgovornosti koje snose sami prijevoznici ili korisnici nuklearnih postrojenja.
Abstract (english)
Nuclear substances are characterized by their sensitive and dangerous nature which has harmful consequences for people and the environment. Although the transport of nuclear materials is characterized by problems, it is still in constant growth from the frequency of transport itself to the amount of material transported. Transport o nuclear materials leads to the risk of accidents with the possibility of radiological exposure that can be extremely harmful to humans and the environment. Transportation of this type of cargo is specific because of the dangerous properties of this cargo which require special attention in all aspects of transport, from packaging itself to documentation. In order to ensure safe transport, more rules and conventions have been adopted that regulate the specificity of this type of transport. These regulations define the concepts and types of nuclear damage, as well as the responsibilities borne by carriers or users of nuclear facilities
