Abstract
Ovaj završni rad obrađuje tematiku javnozdravstvenog značenja pomorske profesije. Kratko je prikazana povijest medicinskih postupaka vezanih za pomorsku profesiju, analizirani su preventivni pregledi, te su navedene i opisane najčešće zarazne bolesti od kojih pomorci oboljevaju. Detaljno su opisani simptomi i prakse vezane uz prenosive zarazne bolesti, te područja iz kojih zaraza najčešće potječe.
Abstract (english)
In this paper we interpreted the meaning of nautical profesion for public health, and shortly presented the history of medical procedures in nautical profesion, we analised the preventive procedures, and listed and described communicable disease that seaman get in contact with. The simptoms and procedures of communicable disease are thruly described, and it is listed where the disease are coming from.
