Abstract
U današnje vrijeme sve je bitnije očuvanje okoliša, godinama se isti zagađivao i to je dovelo do velikih ekoloških problema. More i morski promet nije lišen toga, te je nizom propisa i dokumenata određen način sprječavanja onečišćenja istog. U ovom radu je obrađen najbitniji pravni dokument koji regulira zagađenje mora, MARPOL 73/78 Konvencija IMO-a kao i uređaji koji se danas koriste na brodovima da bi se spriječilo onečišćenje mora. Cilj ovog rada je navesti najvažnije dokumente i propise zaštite mora, te načine i vrste brodskih uređaja kojima se može smanjiti onečišćenje.
Abstract (english)
Nowadays the protection of the environment is increasingly becoming an important concern since it has been polluted for many years and this has led to major environmental problems. The sea and the sea traffic are not deprived of this and the ways of pollution prevention are determined by a series of regulations and documents. This paper deals with the most important legal document governing marine pollution, the MARPOL 73/78 IMO Convention as well as the devices used today on ships to prevent marine pollution. The aim of this paper is to list the most important documents and regulations for the protection of the sea, as well as the methods and types of ship's devices that can reduce pollution.
