Abstract
Cilj rada je analizirati elemente koji su utjecali na razvoj podmornica te odrediti kolika je važnost njihovog utjecaja . Istražene su prednosti razvoja podmornica. Značajan utjecaj na razvoj podmornica uvelike ima Prvi i Drugi svjetski rat. Ideja za nastanak podmornice nastala je zbog pokušaja prednosti nad protivničkom mornaricom. Otprije je podmornica služila kao ratno sredstvo, a danas ima ulogu u istraživačkom radu. Glavne sile u proizvodnji podmornica danas su USA i Rusija koje koriste podmornice na nuklearni pogon.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to analyse the elements that affected the development of submarines and determine the importance of elements affect. The benefits of submarine development have been explored. Very important influence on development of submarines had First and Second World War. An idea for the emergence of a submarine was due to attempts to gain advantage over the opposing Navy. In past, submarines were used as war instrument, and today they have role in research work. The main forces for the development of submarines today are USA and Russia. They are using submarines driven with nuclear power.
