Abstract
Brodogradnja se danas odnosi na industriju čiji je proizvod brod. Brodograđevni sustav u Hrvatskoj sastoji se od ovih velikih brodogradilišta: „Uljanik“ d.d. Pula, „3. Maj“ d.d. Rijeka, „Viktor Lenac“ d.d. Rijeka, „Brodotrogir“ d.d. Trogir i „Brodosplit“ d.d. Split; desetak srednjih i četrdesetak malih brodogradilišta i remontnih centara. Osim ratnih uvjeta koji su utjecali na smanjenje i izostanak narudžbi, za opstanak hrvatskih brodogradilišta na svjetskome tržištu bitni su elementi konkurentnosti i ograničujući faktori koji utječu na konkurentnu poziciju na svjetskome tržištu. Razvoj Hrvatske uvelike ovisi o izvozu u zemlje EU-a, a rast EU-a o izvozu u Aziju.
Abstract (english)
Shipbuilding is now a reference to the industry whose product is a ship. The shipbuilding system in Croatia consists of these large shipyards: "Uljanik" d.d Pula, "3.Maj" d.d. Rijeka, „Viktor Lenac“ d.d. Rijeka, "Brodotrogir" d.d. Trogir and "Brodosplit" d.d. Split; a dozen of medium and forty small shipyards and overhaul centers. In addition to the war conditions that have affected the reduction and absence of orders, the survival of Croatian shipyards in the world market is essential elements of competitiveness and limiting factors that affect the competitive position in the global market. Croatia's development depends heavily on exports to EU countries, and EU growth on exports to Asia.
