Abstract
Republike Hrvatska i Grčka svojim razvedenim obalama ističu se među Sredozemnim državama i zato su predmet ovoga rada. Upravo ta posebnost dovodi u pitanje, da li je sigurnost plovidbe kod takvog tipa obale ista kao i kod država s nerazvedenim obalama. Nadalje, istaknuta je važnost IMO organizacije te konvencija koje su nastale njenim djelovanjem. Uz to, naglašen je značaj obrazovanja pomoraca i osoba koje se bavim određenim morskim djelatnostima te provođenja sigurnosnih mjera kroz postojeće konvencije. Također, ističe se značaj hrvatskih tijela i grčkih problema na području sigurnosti plovidbe. Cilj ovog rada je pružiti viziju kako arhipelaška obala sa velikim brojem plićina, otoka, hridi utječe na sigurnost plovidbe.
Abstract (english)
The Republic of Croatia and Greece with its indented coastilne stand out among Mediterranean countries and are therefore the subject of this paper. This particularity raises the question whether the safety of navigation of such a type of coastline is the same as in countries with other types of coastlines. Furthermore, the importance of the IMO organization and the conventions that emerged from its activities were emphasized. In addition, the pertience of the education of seafarers and persons engaged in certain maritime activities and the implementation of security measures through existing conventions has been accentuated. It also underline the importance of Croatian authorities and Greek issues in the field of safety navigation. The aim of this work is to provide provision of how archipelago coastline with large numbers of shallows, islands, cliffs affects the safety of navigation.
