Abstract
Pravno uređenje znanstvenog istraživanja mora, ne tako davno postalo je predmetom povećane brige u međunarodnom pravu mora. Napredak tehnologije i primjena rezultata znanstvenih istraživanja omogućili su sve intenzivnije iskorištavanje prirodnih bogatstava mora i podmorja bez obzira na dubinu mora i udaljenost od obale. Navedena zbivanja, dovela su do nastojanja da se na Trećoj konferenciji UN o pravu mora unificira međunarodno pravo mora. U ovome radu dat je pregled pravnih režima različitih morskih prostora, s posebnim osvrtom na prava međunarodnih subjekata u otvorenom moru. Cilj ovoga rada je ukazati na važnost reguliranja odnosa država na otvorenome moru kao i objasniti njihova prava i obveze u prostoru izvan nacionalne jurisdikcije.
Abstract (english)
The legal regulation of scientific research on the sea, not so long ago has become the subject of increased concern in the international law of the sea. The advancement of technology and the application of scientific research results have enabled more intensive exploitation of natural resources of the sea and underwater irrespective of the depth of the sea and the distance from the coast. These events have led to efforts at the Third UN Conference on the Law of the Sea unifies the international law of the sea. This paper presents an overview of the the legal regimes of different seas, with special review on the rights of international entities in the open seas. The aim of this paper is to point out the importance of regulating the relations of states in the open sea, as well as to explain their rights and obligations in a space outside national jurisdiction
