Abstract
Ulje je prisutno na gotovo svim pokretnim mehaničkim elementima brodskog dizelskog motora i zbog toga je sustav ulja od ključne važnosti za vitalnost broda. Prikladnim podmazivanjem, odabirom maziva i pravilnim održavanjem, povećavamo vijek trajanja dizelskog motora. U ovom radu objašnjeno je u koju svrhu se upotrebljava ulje za podmazivanje brodskih dizelskih motora, analizirano je kakva svojsta mora imati i koje zahtjeve treba udovoljiti. Prikazan je i razrađen osnovni princip rada sustava za podmazivanje, te su na priloženim primjerima navedene bitne karakteristike pojedinih komponenti sustava te je opisan njihov rad.
Abstract (english)
Oil is present in alomst every moving mechanical element of a marine diesel engine which is why the oil system is of crucial importance to the ship's vitality. With a proper lubrication, lubricant selection and a proper maintenance, the life of the diesel engine increases. This work explained for which purpose lubrication oil for marine diesel engine is used, and also analyzed what properties and requirements are needed. The basic operating principle of the lubrication system is presented and elaborated, along with the essential characteristics and operating principles of the of the system's individual components which are given in the accompanying examples.
