Abstract
Cilj ovog rada jeste opisati tipove osovinskih generatora, njihova svojstva, način rada, te opisati njihove osnovne karakteristike i načine spajanja sa glavnim porivnim strojem ili povezivanja putem multiplikatora u brodskim elektroenergetskim sustavima. Za svaki tip osovinskog generatora navedeni su i objašnjeni zahtjevi koji su preduvjet za navedeni tip ugradnje ili povezivanja putem multiplikatora. Također, kroz kratak povijesni pregled razvoja osovinskih generatora dat je osvrt na njihovu uporabu te su u zaključku navedene prednosti i nedostaci raznih tipova ugradnje osovinskih generatora.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to describe the types of shaft generators in ship electrical power systems, their properties, characteristics, how they operate and methods of connecting them with the main propulsion engine or by a multiplier. For each mentioned type of shaft generator there is an explanation of their requirements and prerequisites for said type of installation or connection by a multiplier. Also, trough a brief historical overview of development of shaft generators their usage is explained, and at the conclusion of this paper the advantages and disadvantages of various types of generators.
