Abstract
Ovaj završni rad opisuje Cornaro Hotel; njegove početke, postignute uspjehe i planove za budućnost. Cilj rada bio je opisati i objasniti menadžment, organizaciju, marketing i strategiju razvoja Cornaro Hotela. Kao uvod u glavnu temu, u radu su objašnjeni pojmovi turizma, gospodarskog razvoja, turističke ponude i potražnje, tržišnih uvjeta, međuodnosa turizma, ugostiteljstva i hotelijerstva, te onaj najvažniji, hotelski proizvod. Svi ovi pojmovi uvijek su međusobno povezani i svaki je neizostavan i jednako važan za razumijevanje hotelijerstva, ugostiteljstva i turizma u cijelosti. Također, u radu su opisani i najvažniji čimbenici za gospodarski razvoj, kao što su ljudski kapital te kvalitetna infrastruktura i plan investicija.
Abstract (english)
This bachelor's degree final paper delineates Cornaro Hotel; it's beginnings, achieved accomplishments and plans for the future. This paper's objective was to describe and explain Cornaro Hotel's management, organization, marketing and development strategy. Terms of tourism, economic development, tourism supply and demand, market conditions, interrelationship between tourism, catering industry and hotel industry, and the most significant one, hotel commodity, are explained in the paper as an introduction to the main subject. All of these terms are interconnected and everyone is indispensable and equally important for understanding hotel industry, catering industry and tourism completely. Also, the most important factors for economical development, such as human capital, quality infrastructure and an investment plan, are described in the paper.
