Abstract
Ovim radom se želi ukazati na značaj i ulogu ergonomije u pomorskom prometu. Poznavanjem i primjenjivanjem ergonomskih načela u tehničkim i tehnološkim sustavima omogućuje se sigurnija i zdravija atmosfera na brodu. Ergonomija nastoji čovjeka povezati s radnim mjestom, smanjiti umor te povećati sigurnost broda, ljudi i okoliša. Kako bi se to postiglo donose se tehnička pravila koje propisuju klasifikacijska društva, a čijom se implementacijom nastoji poboljšati sigurnost broda, ljudi i okoliša. Sve većom automatizacijom na brodovima smanjila se potreba za radnom snagom, a time i brojem pomoraca na brodu.
Abstract (english)
This paper seeks to highlight the importance and role of ergonomics in maritime transport. Knowing and applying ergonomic principles in technical and technological systems enables the safer and healthier atmosphere on board. Ergonomics seeks to link man to his workplace, reduce fatigue and increse ship, crew, passangers and the environment safety. In order to achieve that, technical rules were made by the classification societies. Their implementation is trying to improve the safety of the ship, and the environment. Increasing automation on ships reduces the need for labour, and thus the number of seafarers on board.
