Abstract
Stabilni protupožarni sustavi zauzimaju danas sve veći udio u zaštiti od požara, a naročito sustavi koji pored dojave požara automatski uključuju i gašenje. Ugrađuju se u brodove i vozila, te u javne i industrijske objekte. Princip rada zasniva se na dojavi požara, koja aktivira sredstvo za gašenje, koje se mlaznicama i cjevovodima dovodi do štićenih objekata ili prostora. Osnovna podjela slijedi prema vrstama sredstva za gašenje, te prema načinu rada. Pouzdanost sustava ovisi o kvaliteti ugrađenih elemenata, ispravnom i pravilnom rukovanju, redovitom održavanju, servisiranju i periodičnim ispitivanjima.
Abstract (english)
Today, fixed fire protection systems are more and more used in prevention of fire, especially the systems which, along with alarm systems, start fire extinguishing systems as well. These systems are installed in public and industrial buildings, vehicles and vessels. Their operating principle is that the fire alarm is activated, and then the fire extinguishing medium is transferred through pipes to nozzles and released on the protected objects or in the protected areas. The systems can be categorized based on fire extinguishing mediums or by the operating principe. Quality and reliability of the system depend on the selected elements, fine tuning, correct handling, regular maintenance, servicing and periodic tests
