Abstract
U ovome diplomskom radu govori se o hrvatskim teretnim morskim lukama i njihovom trenutačnom stanju. Opisuju se osnovni pojmovi i definiraju se osnovne funkcije teretnih luka. Tri su osnovne skupine teretnog brodarstva: slobodno, linijsko i tankersko. Tehnologiju pomorskog teretnog prometa moguće je podijeliti na tri značajna modela: pripremu, provedbu i završetak prijevoza. Kao suvremene tehnologije transporta javljaju se paletizacija, kontejnerizacija, huckepack i bimodalna tehnologija.... More Republika Hrvatska ima pet teretnih luka od međunarodnog značaja: Rijeka, Ploče, Split, Zadar i Šibenik. Luka Rijeka predstavlja najkraću vezu između zemalja srednje i istočne Europe te prekomorskih zemalja, dok luka Ploče predstavlja spojnicu između Jadrana, Mediterana i Središnje Europe zbog povoljnog geostrateškog položaja. Orijentacija države u budućnosti mora biti usmjerena prema specijalizaciji luka, radi postizanja konkurencije i uključenja u svjetsko tržište. Less
Abstract (english)
This graduate thesis deals with Croatian freight seaports and their current state of affairs. Basic concepts are described and basic functions of cargo ports are defined. There are three basic freight transport groups: freight, liner and tanker. The technology of maritime freight transport can be devided into three significant models: preparation, implementation and completion of transport. Modern transport technologies include palletizing, containerization, huckepack and bimodal... More technology. The Republic of Croatia has five freight ports of international importance: Rijeka, Ploče, Split, Zadar and Šibenik. Port of Rijeka is the shortest bond between the coutries of Central and Eastern Europe and the overseas countries, while the Port of Ploče represents a junction between the Adriatic, Mediterranean and Central Europe due to the favorable geostrategic position. The orientation of the state in the future must be directed towards the specialization of ports in order to achieve competition and inclusion in the world market. Less
