Abstract
Zaštita ljudskih života na moru najvažniji je cilj pomorskog upravnog prava. Pod pojmom spašavanja, osim ljudskih života može se spašavati i imovina ali ništa nije toliko važno kao spašavanje ljudskih života. Zbog toga su s vremenom usvojena različita pravila i načini na koje bi se trebao spašavati ljudski život na moru a na međunarodnom planu usvojene su različite konvencije s kojima se postiže zaštita ljudi na moru: SOLAS konvencija, Konvencija o traganju i spašavanju i Konvencija o spašavanju. Već unaprijed postoje razne procedure i načini na koje će se spašavati ljudski život na moru, te svaka država u svijetu treba se pridržavati tih procedura i pravila i imati na raspolaganju razne jedinice osposobljene za takve slučajeve. Do današnjih vremena usavršili su se i usavršavaju se i dalje načini, procedure te pravne norme kako bi se što bolje zaštitio ljudski život na moru. Hrvatska ima svoju Nacionalnu središnjicu traganja i spašavanja na moru čije je središte pri Lučkoj kapetaniji u Rijeci.
Abstract (english)
The protection of human life on the sea is the most important goal of maritime administrative law. Under the term of rescuing there are also term of rescuing property but that term is not as important as rescuing peoples lives. That is why different rules and ways to save human life on the sea have been adopted, and the international convention has adopted the various convention that seeks to protect the people at sea: SOLAS, the Search and Rescue Convention and the Rescue Conventions. There are many procedures and ways on which people should search and rescue peoples at sea, and every country on the world that holds on to that rules and procedures must have all kinds of units trained for such cases. Until this day all that procedures, ways and legal form are being perfected to secure people's life at sea. Croatia has its own National Search and Rescue Center at the Sea, whose center is at the Port of Rijeka in Rijeka.
