Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad definira i objašnjava pojavu kruzing indstrije u svijetu te opisuje principe svjetskog trţišta kruţnih putovanja koji se potom postavljaju u kontekst kruzinga u luci Split. Cilj je analizirati, sistematizirati i obraditi prikupljene podatke o luci Split kao kruzing destinaciji te istraţiti trendove kretanja broja ticanja brodova u splitsku luku i putnika, odrţivost kruzinga, te njegove slabe točke i prednosti kao zalog za buduća istraţivanja ove tematike. Referirajući se na brojčane pokazatelje trendova kretanja kruzinga u luci Split, ispituje se odrţivost ove vrste nautičkog turizma kao i njegovi benefiti i negativne odrednice za lokalnu zajednicu i ukupnost razvoja hrvatskog turizma.
Abstract (english)
This paper defines and explains the breakthrough of the cruising industry worldwide as well as the principles of world's market of cruising to be put in the contects of cruising in Split. The main goal is to analyze, systematize and process the collected dana about Port of Split as cruising destination. Paper reasearches trends in the number of sails into Port of Split, number od passangers coming from the cruises and it's sustainability, positive and negative aspects as a pledge for future research of this topic. It takes into consideration its benefits and negative determinants for local community and development of tourism in Republic of Croatia in general.
