Abstract
U ovom radu pokušat će se ukratko prikazati utjecaj globalnog tehničko-tehnološkog napredka, kako općenito, tako osobito novonastala situacija s obzirom na pomorstvo i pomorske znanosti. Spomenuta novonastala situacija osobito se pokazala u razvoju informacijsko komunikacijskih tehnologija (ICT). Iste ove tehnologije, ICT s druge strane imale su svoj iznimni utjecaj u općem obrazovnom sustavu pa i na obrazovanje i usavršavanje pomoraca i kandidata za pomorce. S gore navedenih razloga, brodarstvo i pomorstvo kao dvije srodne znanstvene i tehnološke grane morale su se prilagoditi novonastaloj globalnoj tržišnoj ‘utakmici’. U tom smislu su pomorske obrazovne institucije vidjele i iskoristile svoju priliku, te uz pomoć svih prednosti koje pružaju informacijsko komunikacijske tehnologije uvele nove načine obrazovanja i usavršavanja kadra za pomorsko područje. Među ostalima, ovdje će osobito biti govora o obrazovanju na daljinu i e-učenju na polju pomorstva i pomorskih znanosti na hrvatskim visokoškolskim pomorskim institucijama.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, we will try to briefly present the impact of global technological and technological progress, in general, in particular the maritime and maritime sciences. The above-mentioned emerging situation has been particularly evident in the development of Information Communication Technologies (ICT). The same of these technologies, ICT, on the other hand, had an outstanding impact on the general education system and on the education and training of seafarers and seafarers. For the above reasons, shipping and shipping as two related scien-tific and technological branches had to adapt to the new global 'market' game. In this regard, maritime educational institutions have seen and exploited their opportunities and with the help of all the advantages offered by information communication technologies have introduced new ways of education and training of the personnel for the maritime area. Among others, there will be particularly talk about distance education and e- learning in maritime and maritime science at Croatian higher education maritime institutions.
